zeitform Internet Dienste respects the privacy of the visitors of this website. We've taken measures to ensure recommendations on visitors' privacy.
Accessing the Website
Whenever you access a resource (page, image or the like) of one of the websites of zeitform Internet Dienste this action is recorded in one or more logfiles. Those logfiles are the webserver's access and/or error log as well as the firewall's traffic log. In case of prohibited requests a record is written to one or more of the firewall log, the log of the NIDS and the log of the application level firewall. Please note that none of those records contains personal data. It is impossible to track the actions of a specific visitor from those logfiles alone.
A webserver log record contains the following data:
- the first line of the request (“request header”),
- date and time of the request,
- bytes sent,
- status code of the webserver,
- source ip address,
- “user agent string” provided by the requesting browser,
- referring resource.
Apart from date, time and bytes sent, the firewall logs and the log of the NIDS contain more protocol specific information like source and destination ip address, source and destination port and details about the ip packets seen.
If a request was rejected by the application level firewall, a record is created that contains the complete request (including all headers and post payload if available) in addition to the data mentioned above.
The collected data is used to ensure the proper operation of the webserver, it's services and the network environment. It helps to detect abnormal behaviour within the network caused by erroneous software, misconfiguration, intrusion attempts, high load or the like.
Furthermore the data is used to optimize the zeitform Internet Dienste websites, e.g. remove or correct broken links, re-arrange or change site set up to reflect visitors's preferences and the like.
The collected data will not be passed to any third party neither for commercial nor non-commercial purposes. None of the websites of zeitform Internet Dienste uses cookies, Java applets, ActiveX controls, JavaScript or any other technique to gain personal data.

Pages of this website contain hyperlinks to other, third party websites. We do neither know if the operators of these third party websites have a privacy policy and stick to it nor do we have means to enforce such a policy for thrid party websites.

Un-encrypted e-mail is vulnerable to eavesdropping and so-called “man-in-the-middle attacks” (where a third party captures an e-mail and passes it modified to the recipient). Even encrypted e-mail is vulnerable to traffic analysis (the content of the message is secured but the fact that a message was sent is observable).
