Configuration of E-Mail Clients

Please use the following information to configure your e-mail client:

User Data for Mailserver
POP3-Host (Port 110): mail.Your-Domain.de
SMTP-Host (Port 25): mail.Your-Domain.de
Username: full e-mail address (e.g. user1@Your-Domain.com)
Password: as told after your account was created

Notes:
For security reasons our Linux mailservers (SMTP) do not support "relaying". As a consequence you must either authenticate yourself with username/password when sending mail (you can configure most clients to do so) or you must - using some kind of backdoor - fetch mails from your server before sending mails (SMTP-after-POP3).

If you use an e-mail client that requieres username and POP3 host within a single text field (in the form username@pop3-host), you must replace the "@" in your e-mail address with a "%" (percent sign) ersetzen (e.g. user1%Your-Domain.com@mail.Your-Domain.com).

Features

Our Mailservers support the following features:

Please use the security features APOP and SMTP_AUTH CRAM-MD5 whenever possible.
